The Houston Open is Up This Week!!!

Fresh off a some good results with a solo 2nd and a T7 from our six picks last week. We look to continue that trend this week at the Houston Open.

The field this week is pretty weak in terms of big names so a good chance to grad some good odds as it is a bit of a crap shoot.

Henrik Stenson 9-1: We know it’s easy to pick the chalk and truly one of the few big names in the field this week but Stenson has played really well on this course and his recent worldwide form is good. He has four top ten finishes here including two runner ups and has 6 top 20’s in his last seven starts around the world.

Russell Henley 25-1: Henley is a streaky type player who can go low. He won this event in 2017 and his play of late has been steady. Henley can sneak up and grab a win. Nice odds for a good track record and a proven winner.

Scottie Scheffler 30-1: The rookie had a bit of an off week last event but look for him to rebound. His game is very solid and has been playing well early in the season. We look for a bounce back this week and perhaps continue a trend of young guns to win a tournament.

Keegan Bradley 45-1: Since 2011 Bradley has 4 top 15’s at this event. He can bomb the ball and if his putter gets hot he can take this event. He is due to be back in the winners circle so look for him to have a solid week.

Cameron Tringale 50-1: Tringale is in better form of late. He also has a solid track record here with three top tens as part of his resume. At 50-1 someone with good form and a good track record is worth a play.

Beau Hossler 50-1: A little bit of flyer on Hossler here. He had a really tough year last year but recently has been Showing some signs of life. He is a Texas native and lost in a playoff here a couple years back so we know he likes the course. Again nice odds for a youngster with game that just needs some confidence.

Good luck this week.
